The Power of Partnership
We partnered with Microsoft through their ISV Success Program. Think of it like getting a custom-built test track for your LandCruiser, every bump, curve and pothole your customers will face, simulated in purpose-built Azure labs. We ran BNS Enterprise SMS Server through months of high-stress testing aligned to the ASD Secure Cloud Blueprint, the gold standard for Australian Government security.
We didn’t just walk the track. We hammered it with over 40 million SMS messages across Azure and AWS, running simulations for load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery. If something could break, we wanted it to break. It didn’t.
Sending 40 million SMS messages was only made possible using special load test facilities through our partnership with Sinch.

With Microsoft Purview integrated from day one, governance, data protection, and audit readiness weren’t bolted on later, they were baked in.

While Microsoft gave us the track, SME Gateway gave us the right access to get going.
As a government panel contract holder, SME Gateway enabled BNS to deliver this solution to the public sector quickly and compliantly, while also supporting local SMEs through their network. It was a win-win: they opened the door, we brought the tech, and government clients benefited from both agility and assurance.
